As a consequence of the knock on effect of the Pandemic, the decision was taken to step back from the sale of new Bicycles and Accessories, turns out this was a good move as Distributors continue to put the squeeze on Independent Cycle shops as they head towards Direct to Customer sales. As a consequence we have seen a number of Cycle shops closing Nationwide , and several in this area alone !!

Chosing to concentrate instead on the more sustainable Used Bike market and Servicing & Repair has proven itself during the Summer months,  Winter as always remains a challenge.

UPDATE JULY 2024

September 2024 will be our 15 year anniversary and technically End of Lease period ... we are in "negotiations" with the Landlord but sadly may be ousted from the shop as Winter approaches .

There is a contingency plan which will be revealed if neccessary !!

In preparation we need to slim down stock levels and refer customers to the current SALE now in progress in-store .

Whilst trying to promote the re-use of Bicycles , sometimes it is clear that a New Bike is the only answer , to that end , we have retained accounts with a few Brands and would be happy to supply any bike available as a Special Order.

As we are no longer Stockists , our margins are limited , accordingly bikes will come boxed and will attract a £10 postage charge and a build fee of £40.This will be negotiable depending on the value of the bike/sale !
